INDIANAPOLIS – Preston Johnson, President of Johnson Martin Advisors, has been named as a Director of the USA Track & Field Foundation Board, USATF Foundation Executive Director Tom Jackovic and Chairman Bob Greifeld announced today.

Passionate about track & field since seeing Gerry Lindgren break the U.S. three mile record in the rain at the University of Washington’s Husky Stadium in 1966, Mr. Johnson has independently sponsored a number of Olympic hopefuls over the years. He has also attended every Olympic Trials since 1980 along with several World Championships.

“My heart goes out to so many of the uniquely-talented, dedicated track and field athletes who cannot pursue their dreams and realize their full potential due to a lack of financial support,” noted Johnson. “The USATF Foundation is a tremendously productive organization that is helping to fill this void.”

Mr. Johnson, along with his wife Victoria Martin, founded Johnson Martin Advisors, a Las Vegas-based investment management firm servicing high net worth clients. Prior to forming this firm in 1992, Mr. Johnson held various corporate positions in finance including Managing Director and CFO of The O’Connor Group in New York City (a real estate investment partnership), and Senior Vice President and CFO of Santa Fe International Corporation (a Los Angeles-based diversified energy company).
