In 2015 the USA Track & Field Foundation awarded a record total of over $400,000 to athletes and distance training centers and expects to exceed that number in 2016.  Beginning in 2016, it will be mandatory that every athlete expecting to be considered for a grant complete an annual application.

The Foundation will be reviewing the applications over the next several months and applicants are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible to receive consideration. The deadline for application submission is December 1st, 2015. Grant award winners are expected to be selected and announced in January.
