"The Foundation is a tremendous help and benefit to athletes." I am the son of Randy Martin and Maureen Martin, both teachers in Bloomington, IN. My sister Stacy Martin-Tenney is a former thrower and All-American at Auburn University. She now works at Disney as a marketing manager for the Marathon Events. I am married to Taryn Martin, formerly Taryn Wever of Bloomington, IN. Outside of the ring I am an avid golfer. One day I hope to try for the Long Drive World Championships. Other than sports, I enjoy spending time with my wife, reading books, and playing chess. After my career in athletics has ended, I hope to coach collegiately or teach. I have a Bachelors Degree in teacher education. The constant challenges of teaching and coaching is something that I enjoy and look forward to pursuing.
