bob-greifeldWelcome, and thank you for visiting the USA Track & Field Foundation website. Along with our dedicated Board of Directors, it is you, the generous fans of Track & Field, that enable the Foundation to carry on in its efforts to assist youth & emerging elite athletes to perform and function to the best of their abilities, both on and off the field.

From your generosity we have seen some amazing success stories develop over the years. Nine Elite Athlete Development Grant recipients competed on the 2008 Olympic Team, with Stephanie Brown Trafton winning the Olympic Discus Gold Medal and David Oliver claiming the Olympic Bronze Medal in the 110 Hurdles. In addition, 19 Foundation sponsored athletes were named to the 2012 London Team USA, with Keshia Baker-Kirtz taking home a gold medal in the 4 x 400 relay. 31 grantees made the 2016 Olympic team and competed in Rio de Janeiro. Highlights included Ryan Crouser’s gold medal in the shot put along with breaking the Olympic Record, Dalilah Muhammed taking gold in the 400 meter, Jeff Henderson’s gold medal in the long jump, and Tori Bowie taking home three medals: gold in 4 X 100 meter relay, silver in the 100 meter and bronze in the 200 meter. In the words of one Grant recipient, “the system works.” It sure does. Congratulations to all!

Jack was a senior executive at United Health Group and is currently chairperson of the United Healthcare Children’s Foundation. Jack ran for Bucknell University in the 70’s. He is the Founder of AthleteBiz and serves as Vice-Chair of the USA Track & Field Board of Directors.

Anré Williams

Group President, Global Merchant & Network Services, American Express Company

Anré Williams is Group President of American Express GMNS organization, a role he assumed in February 2018. In this position, he leads the businesses that manage and evolve important partnerships for the company with key stakeholders including merchants, banks, strategic and loyalty partners.  Mr. Williams serves on the Board of Illinois Tool Works Inc. He is co-chair of the U.S. Travel Association CEO Roundtable, and a member of the Wharton Graduate Executive Board, and the Stanford Athletics Board. Anré is a former track athlete at Stanford, and a High School All American, he ran the 400 meters and both relays.

Tom Jackovic

Executive Director, USA Track & Field Foundation

Tom has directed fund-raising and development strategies in the athletic arena since 1992, including positions with the United States Olympic Committee, Penn State University, the University of Buffalo and Washington University in St. Louis. He runs regularly, has completed a full triathlon, and is an avid golfer.

Trixie Saumsiegle

Associate Director of Development, USA Track & Field Foundation

Trixie has an extensive background in Event Operations related to international travel and hospitality.  She is a University of Wisconsin graduate where she competed as an alpine ski racer.  Trixie competes in races regularly having finished four half marathons and the Chicago Marathon.
